How to Age Gracefully

SITUATIONER:

About 3 – 4 decades ago, the life expectancy among female was about 40 – 50
years, among the males it was about 40 – 48 years only.
However during the 21st century, the life expectancy among males is 67 – 70 years old while the females is 70 – 72 years.
One of the males was asked why there was a lower number of years of life expectancy among males and his answer was they have their wives to contained with.

Reasons for longer life:

1. Better nutrition
2. Improved health education and habits
3. Better environment
4. Plenty of advances in science & technology towards the improvement and prolongation of life
5. Better consciousness on health and quality of life

Suggestions:

1. WAKE UP EARLY
2. PRAY HARD
3. EXERCISE – WALK FAST
4. EAT A GOOD HEALTHY BREAKFAST
5. TRY A NEW CRAFT AND LEARN A NEW SYSTEM OR TRADE FOR YOUR WORK.
6. WORK HARD
7. BEAUTIFUL LIFE

Blessed are they who understand
My faltering step and palsied hand;
Blessed are they who know that my ears today
Must strain to catch the thing they say;
Blessed are they who seem to know
That my eyes are dim and my wits are slow;
Blessed are they who looked away
When my coffee spilled on my table today;

Blessed are they with a cheery smile
Who stop to chat for a little while;
Blessed are they who never say
“You’ve told the story twice today”
Blessed are they who always know the ways
To bring back memories of yesteryears;
Blessed are they who make it known
That I am loved, respected, and not alone;
Blessed are they who know I’m at a loss
To find the strength to carry the cross;
Blessed are they who ease the days
In my journey Home in loving ways.
